After spending 15 years working in the Telecoms industry in various positions, including sales, project management, process improvement, quality assurance and compliance, Ruhi decided to give it all up to focus on his passion for property development full-time in August 2020.

His journey into property development started in 2010 at the tender age of 23 when he acquired an ex-local authority property in Old Street, London and converted it into a 5-bedroom HMO. Since then, he has completed numerous conversion projects in London and Hertfordshire and gained extensive experience as a landlord and in property management and lettings.

2020 marked the beginning of a new chapter; it started with the acquisition of a restaurant business in Hertfordshire, where he completed the commercial refurbishment of the restaurant and kitchen and the HMO conversion of the upper parts of the property.

In 2023 he set up ARKAY Property Group; its vision is to work with investment partners to deliver high-quality homes sustainably, striving to meet the housing supply needs of the present without the risk of compromising the needs of future generations.

The company is currently working on several projects, including the acquisition of a Grade II listed former mill in Hertfordshire with the aim to convert it into four luxury apartments.
